The Swiss Technology Award is the most important technology prize in Switzerland and will be presented for the 30th time in 2018, supported by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy SFOE. Every year, prizes in the three categories of „Inventors“, „Start-ups“ and „Innovation Leaders“ are awarded to outstanding innovations and developments that exhibit higher-than-average market potential and major opportunities for growth (see winners 2016). Prize winners receive a tailored support package consisting of marketing and communication measures, in-depth expert feedback, valuable contacts and simplified entry into the SEF4KMU growth programme. Through the Swiss Technology Award, the Swiss Economic Forum and the award partners make a valuable contribution to promoting a culture of innovation in Switzerland.
