The Swiss-U.S. Energy Innovation Days return to Switzerland
This year’s edition of the Swiss-US Energy Innovation Days (SUEID 2018) will take place in the Western part of Switzerland from August 19 to 22. It will be the fifth edition after Boston in 2014, Zurich in 2015, San Francisco in 2016 and New York City in 2017.
Switzerland: A stable and strongly rooted country. However, Switzerland – especially in the energy field – is consistently pushing its roots towards the future. Just like the United States of America, Switzerland is facing a historic and fundamental transformation of its energy system.
The SUEID 2018 provide a collaborative networking forum where delegates can experience these intense and varied developments live. They will set out on an actual “Tour de Romandie”, the French-speaking part of Switzerland, being a hotspot for energy innovation and at the same time a picture-perfect region.
The conference comprises six local conferences in Geneva, Lausanne, Yverdon-les-Bains, Neuchâtel, Fribourg and Sion, featuring an impressive line-up of more than 70 highly qualified speakers from industry, authorities, research and start-ups from both countries. The short presentations are intended to ignite discussions and networking thus further strengthening relations between Swiss and US energy experts. Download the conference program here.
The seats in the delegation, which includes over 30 participants from the U.S. and more than 80 from Switzerland, are fully booked. It is however possible to attend one of the local conferences in Geneva, Lausanne, Yverdon-les-Bains, Neuchâtel, Fribourg or Sion.
